ABB Price Adjustment Notice for Smart Power & Smart Building Solutions, Effective 2026
Dear Valued Customer,
We extend our sincere gratitude for your continued partnership and trust in ABB.
The global power industry is currently experiencing sustained and significant increases in the cost of core raw materials. This has placed considerable pressure across the entire supply chain. Notably, prices for critical precious metals such as copper and silver have risen dramatically since the beginning of 2025: LME copper has increased by approximately 50%, while LME silver has surged by nearly 200%.
As these metals are essential for conductive components and core parts within our circuit breakers and industrial control products—directly impacting performance, stability, and safety—the cost fluctuations have materially affected our production inputs.
To ensure we continue delivering products and services with uncompromised quality, reliability, and on-time delivery, ABB has conducted a thorough review. Consequently, we must implement a price adjustment for our Smart Power and Smart Building product portfolios. The adjustment will be in the range of 6% to 10%, with variations possible for specific or end-of-life products.
The new pricing will become effective 00:00, January 19, 2026.
Orders confirmed prior to this date will be honored at the original quoted price and delivery schedule.
All orders generated on or after January 19, 2026, will be subject to the new price list.
