Ifm Confirms 2026 Price Adjustment | Logistics & Memory Market Impact

Ifm has confirmed a price adjustment due to ongoing logistics issues and memory market challenges. Find out how the July 2026 ifm price change affects your sensor and automation orders.

Ifm electronic gmbh has confirmed a general price adjustment effective July 1, 2026, citing continued increases in logistics and memory component costs.

The company explained that global logistics costs have been affected by geopolitical tensions, trade route constraints, and rising fuel and handling expenses. 

These factors have increased the cost of transporting both inbound materials and outbound deliveries.

In parallel, strong demand from AI and data centre growth has placed additional pressure on the memory market. 

With production capacity limited in the short term and much of the supply already committed through long-term agreements, memory component prices have continued to rise.

To support reliable customer deliveries, ifm has secured critical components and logistics capacity in advance. 

Although these measures help reduce the risk of delivery disruption, they have also resulted in higher operating costs. 

As a result, ifm will introduce a 2.0% general price increase across most of its product range, excluding selected software and service areas.
